Flexible bulb acts as a mechanical seal with little resistance. Conforms to the shape of the sealing surface better than a rigid part. The T-slot base is made from rigid polypropylene which has a superior column strength, allowing for machine/automated insertion.

Compression seal with a reach of .405"(10.3mm) for mounting distances of .20" to .32" and a bulb diameter of .315"(8.0mm). Slipcoat on top surface of TPE bulb reduces friction in sliding/sweeping applications.

With a backing width of .195"(4.9mm), this T-Slot base works in the majority of PVC and aluminum extrusions. TPE bulb composition is an alternative to textile products in adverse environments. This material combines the flexibility of a thermoplastic with the functional performance and properties of a conventional thermoset rubber.
