Aptus seals are extruded TPEs. This material combines the flexibility of a thermoplastic with the functional performance and properties of a conventional thermoset rubber. Compression seal with a reach of .206"(5.2mm) is ideal for tight spaces, for mounting distances of .10" to .16" and a bulb diameter of .125"(3.1mm). With a backing width of .195"(4.95mm), this T-slot base works well in the majority of PVC and aluminum extrusions. TPE bulb composition is an alternative to textile products in adverse environments.
